An extremely rare hockey card has been adapted into a game-changing luggage tag!  In the days of the "Original Six" NHL teams,  Patterson Chocolates Ltd. of Toronto included one of 26 different "Hockey Patter" cards in each Long Fellow candy bar.  The cards explained different aspects of the game -- from uniforms to trophies -- and featured a single red letter from A to Z on the back.  Young consumers were encouraged to play the "Name-the-Player" contest.  When they had enough lettered cards to be able to spell the name of any player in the NHL, they could mail them in for a FREE box of "Patterkrisp" candy.  Which was probably a great way for Patterson Chocolates to recycle hockey cards and boost sales, but also why the cards are now so rare.
